Country-specific terms

What changes depending on the country where you live or work: the privacy and consumer laws that apply, your regulator, cooling-off rights, and anything a country requires us to tell you.

These terms add to the Terms of Service, the Professional Terms, the Cancellation, Refund & Deposit Policy and the Privacy Policy for users in each country where Booknara is available. Where they say something different, the country's section applies to users in that country.

Nothing here reduces any right that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.

Australia

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in our terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees.

Austria

EU rules for online platforms apply. Professionals on Booknara are traders, and their consumer obligations to you are theirs. Our point of contact under the Digital Services Act is support@getbooknara.com (English, French or Spanish). Professionals have the rights given by the Platform-to-Business Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, reflected in the Professional Terms.

Booknara is not established in the EU. Our representative in the EU under Article 27 GDPR and Article 13 of the Digital Services Act will be named here once appointed; until then, contact us directly at support@getbooknara.com.

You have the right of regret under article 49 of the Consumer Defence Code: 7 days from booking, before the appointment starts, for a full refund. Under the LGPD you can ask for confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, portability and deletion of your data, information about sharing, and review of decisions; you can also complain to the ANPD or to Procon and consumidor.gov.br.

We only send emails needed for your bookings and account, as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation allows; we will ask for your consent before sending anything else.

Notice at collection: we collect the categories of personal information listed in the Privacy Policy (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity and approximate location from your IP address) for the purposes listed there. We do not sell or share personal information, and do not use sensitive personal information. Depending on your state, you can ask to know, correct or delete your information, and you will not be discriminated against for doing so. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
